In Late October 2008 all three kids and I tagged along with Preston on a Business trip to Rapid City South Dakota. He made some time to take us to Mount Rushmore. It was a first for everyone except Preston. Gavin had fun looking at all the state flags and learning more about how Mount Rushmore was built and learning facts about each person on Mount Rushmore. He brought a camera and took lots of pictures to show everyone in
Alamosa.
Talia was most interested in the random goats that were on the grounds. I don't think they were very interested in her though.
Gavin is getting a better view...
Here is our little family...
Talia gave her Dad a run for his money...LITERALLY...(we almost bought a silly little bell from the gift shop because Talia broke it but they were nice and told us that we didn't need to pay for the bell.) This is one of the few times that she wasn't in motion so we had to document it.
Gavin is blowing up the mountain.
Here I am with my sweet little MILO.
Gavin was a big help in keeping track of his speedy little sister.
So the pictures are backwards but this is us on the way in and Talia was ready to go after spending about 7 hours in the car.
