(Here I am just moments after Talia was born. I was so overwhelmed with love for my sweet baby girl!)
Hello all my friends and family! I wanted to let everyone know that I am starting to teach HypnoBirthing classes! I will be serving Colorado Springs and the surrounding area. I am so excited because I love the philosophy on birth and the coping mechanisms taught in HypnoBirthing. I had two wonderful experiences birthing my children and I am excited to help others on their beautiful journey and to encourage them in their unique birthing experience! It is such an amazing gift that we, as women have been given to bring life into this world!
For more information on my classes and HypnoBirthing(R) go to my blog: http://www.hypnobirthingcs.blogspot.com/

Congrats Shanda on your teaching! I'm sure you will be great!
How awesome!! If my hubby were into that I would have done that from the start. I was lucky he even cut the last one's cord!!
Congrats, and what an amazing thing to help others with such a special process of life!!!
How fun! I didn't realize that you could teach these classes.
Thanks for your comments ladies! Liz - I loved using HypnoBirthing and wanted an opportunity to share a positive attitude about birth so I completed an intensive training in April. Now I just have a few more details and my name and contact info will be on the HypnoBirthing website as an official HBCE (HypnoBirthing Child birth Educator)
Oh and Hope just so you know HypnoBirthing can be used anywhere. In the hospital, at a homebirth or in the car if you don't quite make it. It is a wonderful way for the husband (or any birthing companion) to have an active role in helping the mother to stay peaceful and confident and calm. But that doesn't mean that the husband or the wife has to get involved in any way that isn't comfortable for them. I feel like it is more about the attitude towards birth and can be aplicable in all situations. Women will often use the coping mechanisms to help them through a C-Section. I could really go on and on but I will save it for my classes. :)
Wow Shanda, this souds like its right up your alley. I will just take the sleeping drugs and see ya when its all over.
Hey we are finding people! Hope you are doing well. We'll figure out this blog thing before too long! Keep in touch.
