Feeling Patriotic?

This is a sample of one of the songs that my music group performed at an old folks home yesterday. I thought my Mom and Dad might appreciate hearing this. :) And I figure It can help everyone get in a patriotic mood!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!

Yes, thank you I am feeling very patriotic now. I am so impressed with your singing group... that is one talent that I am very envyous of... so Shanda, when are you going on American Idol? You can still make it under the cut off, it's 28 right?

Yay! Thanks so much for posting that! I especially enjoyed it because I miss my usic group girls so much!! Now I feel like I got to particpate a little-- even if it was just watching. We are totally having a blast. I am glad that we also have great people to come back to like your family!

That was beautiful! I am trying so hard to find a singing group out here that doesn't perform on Sundays or practice on Mondays. I had the awesome calling of Choir Director about 10 months before the ward split. I am still the Relief Society Chorister, but it isn't the same. I am hoping they call a choir director soon because I really want to get into it again.

Thank you! That was wonderful to listen to.

Hope,

I felt the same way so I just decided to start an Enrichment Group. Sometimes we sing in church but we also like to do other music and so we sing at an old folks home. We have even had a Karioke day. It was so much fun!

I have to tell you, I was listening to this and Nick was watching, he insisted on sitting with me to listen. When I started to sing along, he told me to be quiet! He wouldn't let me sing AT ALL! He actually despises my music, sad I know. But this was beautiful, Nick listened to the entire thing.

Lorrin,

That is so funny! I am glad that Nick appreciates my music instead of telling you to turn it off. :) You can always count on kids to be honest!
