Craving a project???

I just received a Purple Charm Quilt in the mail. It is like a chain letter but only involves squares of fabric. I don't usually participate in these letters but it seemed harmless enough and I thought it would be easier to do it than call the person that sent it to me and make her send another one. What can I say I am a softy.

So I am in search of 6 people who would like to participate and make a Purple quilt. Here is the letter:

Purple Charm Quilt

This a quilt tree. No money is involve, just a lot of fun. I never responded to "chain letters," but this is fabric? And there are no threads attached.

Please sent two 6 1/2" squares of cute fabric with the color purple in them to the first person on the list. Remove the first name and put your name below mine. Then copy this letter and send it to 6 people along with two 6 1/2" squares containing the color purple.

All together, you should receive 72 squares of purple fabric, enough to make a quilt. What a fun project to look forward to!

It will also be fun to see where the squares come from and what they look like once you put your quilt together.

If you are not interested or can't do this within one week, please let me know (so I can send it to another friend) do it doesn't spoil the fun for everyone else.

Happy Quilting

So that is the letter I received and I was kind of thinking that Emily L, Hope H, and Noel H, might be interested because you guys are so crafty. ;) Does flattery work??? If Anyone wants to participate please speak up! Email me your address at: shandah@gmail.com

Thanks so much!!!

I think it sounds fun, but for me, it's not the right time--OR the right COLOR. :-)

Yikes!!! Had I noticed this before we left for so long I would have spoken up. I am so sorry. That actually sounds like fun. Maybe I can get to something like that next year. Just getting back from 2 months of roadtripping and such, and now taking care of things at my Dad's house, cleaning out Mom's stuff and all. Not going to get to much crafting. However, I plan on getting some me time each week.
Just caught up on your blog, too. Talia is getting so big. I love the pics with her and Lita!! Congrats on the boy! Hope things are well.
