Mount Rushmore

In Late October 2008 all three kids and I tagged along with Preston on a Business trip to Rapid City South Dakota. He made some time to take us to Mount Rushmore. It was a first for everyone except Preston. Gavin had fun looking at all the state flags and learning more about how Mount Rushmore was built and learning facts about each person on Mount Rushmore. He brought a camera and took lots of pictures to show everyone in Alamosa.

Talia was most interested in the random goats that were on the grounds. I don't think they were very interested in her though.

Talia gave her Dad a run for his money...LITERALLY...(we almost bought a silly little bell from the gift shop because Talia broke it but they were nice and told us that we didn't need to pay for the bell.) This is one of the few times that she wasn't in motion so we had to document it.

So the pictures are backwards but this is us on the way in and Talia was ready to go after spending about 7 hours in the car.

Hello all my friends and family! I wanted to let everyone know that I am starting to teach HypnoBirthing classes! I will be serving Colorado Springs and the surrounding area. I am so excited because I love the philosophy on birth and the coping mechanisms taught in HypnoBirthing. I had two wonderful experiences birthing my children and I am excited to help others on their beautiful journey and to encourage them in their unique birthing experience! It is such an amazing gift that we, as women have been given to bring life into this world!

A chat with Milo

Milo is 2 months old!

Milo turned 2 months old on 10-7-08. Here is my sweet Milo after church(10-12-08)! He is such a good tempered little baby and adds such a light to our family. He is so easy to smile and he coos all of the time. Milo rolled over from his tummy to his back too. He has a few more similarities to his sister than we realized like the big eyes but he is definitely my handsome boy! Talia loves her little brother more and more especially since he smiles and coos. He loves to watch her and she loves to talk to, tickle, hold, hug and kiss Milo. It will be so fun to se how their relationship develops as they grow.

This is Talia at 2 months old...I think they look similar...what do you think?

10-7-08 For cousin Mitchells birthday we went to Thanksgiving Point. Talia had a blast and was not afraid of any of the animals. She couldn't get enough! Goats & Sheep

Run Gavin, Run!

Gavin did a Fun Run in Alamosa where he ran a mile. He didn't even stop and walk (which is more than I can say I would do). We got to go and cheer him on as he is about to cross the finish line. Great job Gavin!

Red Handed!

(Late Sept 2008) I thought it would be fun to let Talia finger paint...and it was for about 15 min. After that she thought our kitchen floor could use some paint. She was way too messy for a quick clean up and after several swipes at her we both ended up in the shower. I kind of like the red shower.

A Little Crazy...

Here is what I was doing a week before Milo was born. I didn't actually get in the water but I did have to hike in to this point. I got a nice gash on my leg to show for it. Talia had fun though. :)
