(February 19, 2009) At the age of 101 my grandma, Ruth Nielson passed away. (she also had 101 great grandchildren...pretty cool!) I went to LaVerkin, UT for the funeral and stayed with my parents at my Grandma's house. Here are a few pictures that remind me of my Grandma...
Her house...I never knew her to live anywhere else. I remember visiting every summer. As kids we loved to sleep on a flat part of the roof and watch the fireworks on 4th of July.
The house on the hill had a wonderful view of the small city
Grandma loved to work in the garden and always had cute decorations in her yard.
Grandma was patriotic and very opinionated and it showed in small ways like her signed picture of Ronald Regan.
Other things I remember are the ceramics that she made, her music box collection, and her love of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
